  1. Independent variables and dependent variables are different because the independent variable is fine on it's own just like time nothing can stop time. A Dependent variable depends on the independent variable.

  2. Independent variables are different from dependent variables. They're different because dependent variables are the ones that depend on the independent variable.

  3. Independent and dependent variables are different because the dependent variable depends on one of the other variables while the independent variable doesn't depend on the other(s) variable. For example in the equation y=5x-2 the y variable depends on the x variable. Since the y variable is alone it will always depend on the x variable.

  4. Idependent varibles are different then dependent varibles, because independet varibles don't rely on anything. A dependet varible relys on an independet varible.

  5. Independent and dependent variables are different.A independent variable is a variable that does not depend on something else.A Dependent variable is a variable that does depend on something.
    For example: y=5x+6
Y depends on x in the example.

  6. Dependent variables depend on the independent variable. For ex. the time you ran doesn't depend on how many miles you ran.

  7. Independent and dependent variables are different because the dependent variable depends on the independent variable.

  8. Independent and dependent variables are different because a dependent variable is something that is being measured and a Independent variable that is being changed or controlled.

  9. Independent and dependent variables are different because one depends on the other. A dependent variable depends on the independent variable. For example, x=7-h, x depends on h because the answer, x, depends on what h is. Another way to tell what an independent variable is is if the variable has to do with hours. An independent variable can't be changed but a dependent variable can and time can't be changed.

  10. Independent variables and dependent variables are different because, a independent variable depends on a dependent variable, and what ever happens to the dependent variable, affects the independent variable.

  11. The Dependent variable depends on the independent variable
Ex. P (Perimeter) depends on W

  12. The independent and dependent variable are different because the independent variable depends on the dependent variable, and the dependent variable affects the independent variable.

  13. Independent variables are different from dependent variables because,a dependent variable changes and the independent never changes it always stays the same.

  14. Independent variables and dependent variables are different because the dependent variable changes based on what the independent variable is. The independent variable always stays the same. This is how independent variables and dependent variables are different.

  15. Independent variables and dependent variables are different because an independent variable does not depend on another variable but a dependent variable does.

  16. Independent varibles and dependent varibles are different because an independent variable doesn't depend on a dependent varible. But a dependent varible depends on a independent variable. If these were switched it wouldn't make sense. For example, if you were telling time the dependent varible depends on the independent variable.

  17. The difference between Independent and Dependent variables is that with a Independent is that it can be changed. Dependent cannot be changed.

  18. The difference is that a independent variable is when it does not depend on anything. And a dependent variable does depend on something.

  19. The differences between independent variables and dependent variables are, an independent variable docent need anything to support it. a dependent variable need another variable to support it.

  20. Independent and dependent variables are different because independent is for hours ,weeks ,days and time and dependent is when it depends on the variable. For example dependent is y=200+10m Y is the dependent variable, independent is y=200=10m M is the independent variable.

  21. Independent variables are different from dependent variables because if you have an independent variable it depends on a dependent variable. A dependent variable is depended on.

  22. The difference between an independent and dependent variable is that the independent variable is not depended on and the dependent variable is depended on. For example, y depends on x.

  23. Independent variables and dependent variables are different by a dependent variable having the main variable and the independent variable having the other variable.

  24. Independent variables and dependent variable are different because an dependent variable relys on and independant variable. Also independant are when it is time and dependent is not when it is time.

  25. Independent variables are different from dependent variables. They are different from each other because dependent variables rely on independent variables. For example, if there was a section of a problem that told you that y= the amount of how much money you have after x weeks, the x would be the independent variable because the y relies on the x.

  26. Independent and Dependent variables are different because one depends on the other for example if you save your money for a week then how much money will you have in X weeks? If you saved money for a week does the money depend on the time it takes to earn it or does time depend on the money? The money depends on the time right so that's the difference between independent and dependent variables.

  27. Independent variables and dependent variables are different because dependent variables are variables that are depend on another variable.Independent variables are the variables that dependent variable depend on.

  28. Independent variables and dependent variables are different by a dependent variable has something that it depends on. A independent means something depends on it. An example of a dependent variable is y=10x+25, y is the dependent variable. A dependent variable could be x, or time because is does not stop and nothing should depend on it.
